As I’ve said before, in Naples, Florida there are basically two major activities, restaurants and shopping. The competition in dining is formidable. There are so many delicious options to choose from. During the season it is a blood sport to get a reservation.
Lucky for us last night we managed to get into yet another new restaurant called Midtown off of Golden Gate and Tamiani.
The minute we entered we knew we would like this place. It felt totally comfortable. We could actually hear each other talk. The restaurant is divided up into a few separate areas.
I was most impressed with the feeling of art and design surrounding you.
Michael Hernandez and his wife Lisa have owned a number of well known restaurants in Naples. Hob Nob is the sister restaurant to Midtown.
Well, you might ask,
what about the food.
Quite an array of sharable appetizers. A very eclectic menu.
And how could you possibly pass up deviled eggs. BACON + EGGS deviled stuffed eggs / tomato jam / candied bacon
I had a strong craving for meat and the Hanger Steak with horseradish demi sauce was the perfect choice along with a side order of perfect sweet potato fries. That, with a glass of concannon cabernet made me one happy man.
